Ophthalmologist is the branch of medicine that deals with the anatomy, physiology and disease of the eyeball. An ophthalmology is a specialist in medical and surgical eye problems.

Education: 
In order to become an ophthalmologist, students typically complete a bachelor's program, 4-years doctor of medical (M.D.) program and a 3-years ophthalmologist residency in a hospital.
